Who runs Champsquads?
Champsquads (champsquads.com) is operated by or on behalf of the 8xbet brand. We wrote it for fans who follow the Premier League, Champions League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 and want reliable information before kick-off.
Champsquads publishes news and education. It does not take bets. You place bets on the 8xbet platform, which operates in Lagos State under a Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LSLGA) Online Sports Betting/Online Casino licence held by Strivora Limited trading as 8XBet, valid from 5 June 2026 to 4 June 2027 (check it on the LSLGA register; LSLGA does not publish licence numbers).
Because 8xbet owns this site, our content promotes 8xbet. Our Ownership & Affiliate Disclosure explains what that means for you.
What does Champsquads cover?
- Match predictions: form, team news and the key markets, explained in plain English.
- Injury updates: a regularly refreshed page that tracks injuries and suspensions at top European clubs.
- Betting guides: how 1X2, Over/Under, BTTS and handicap markets work, and how to bet within your limits.
We write for Nigerian readers, so kick-off times appear in WAT. When big news breaks, such as a key injury before a fixture, we update the relevant page and its date, so you always know how fresh the information is.
How do we check our facts?
- We take team and injury news from club and manager statements first, then from established outlets such as BBC Sport and Sky Sports.
- We label claims from smaller sites as “reports suggest” or leave them out until they are confirmed.
- We check names, dates and fixtures before we publish, and we show when each page was last updated.
- We never promise guaranteed wins or present betting as a way to make money.

How do we encourage responsible betting?
Champsquads is for adults aged 18 and over. Treat betting as entertainment, not income. Set a budget, use the deposit and time limits on the 8xbet platform, and take a break when it stops being fun. Our Responsible Gambling page lists warning signs and free help services.
18+ only. Gambling involves risk. Bet only what you can afford to lose, and play responsibly.
